village near the spa at Lamalou-les-Bains (3km). The
house was built in 1660 and has been tastefully modernised.
From the house directly there are walks into the mountains,
with magnificent views, and nearby is the River Orb,
along which are some of the prettiest villages in France.
With bedroom, living room, equipped kitchen the property
can accommodate 2+2.

Living room:
Bright, light room with views of the mountains and the
village. From the living-room there are stairs down
to the kitchen. |

fully equipped with gas cooker and all utensils. Light
and airy, with direct access to terrace which gets the
sun all day. |

Bedroom:
peaceful and quiet, with double bed and en suite shower
room. The bedroom leads by a door into the living room,
which faces south and has magnificent views of the surrounding
countryside and the village. |

Upstairs there is a bedroom
with en suite shower room, and adjacent toilet and washing-machine
facilties. There is a double bed in the bedroom, and
a Futon extending sofa in the living-room. |

Shops:
Lamalou-les-Bains is just down the road (2 miles).
It has all the necessary shops and banks, as well
as restaurants and sporting facilities (swimming pool,
tennis courts and a nearby golf course). The town
thrives on the thermal baths, to which many people
come for cures and treatments.

The casino
at Lamalou-les-Bains is shown above. Béziers
is half an hour away by car, Montpellier
one hour. Both these towns are fascinating architecturally
and culturally.

| The sea
is within easy reach, 45 minutes away by car.
Cap d'Agde is great for sailing, or just
lazing on the beach. There are plenty of bars, cafes
and restaurants. Many of the restaurants by the side
of the marina (above) have live music |

The diverse scenery of the area includes mountains,
gorges, cave grottos, lakes, beaches, marinas, vineyards,
Roman remains, and the spa town of Lamalou les bains
all within easy reach. The beautiful Mediterranean garden
at Roquebrun, (open to the public) is famous for being
able to grow a diverse selection of plants due to the
micro-climate of the limestone hillside on which it
is situated. It also enjoys fantastic views of the river
Orb flowing through the village below. The Lac du Salagou
is a large freshwater lake, which is used for swimming
and water sports.
The county of Herault has more than sixty miles of beaches.
The nearest beach resort is Valras Plage
20 minutes away by car with a long sandy beach and lots
of restaurants.
There are also plenty of other coastal attractions nearby
i.e. Agde, Sete, Cap d'Agde with its
water park, Marseillan, Portiragnes Plage, Narbonne
etc.

home for up to 4 people is shown below. The
price shown is the total rental for the week,
NOT per person and is fully inclusive - there
are no other costs.
- Booking 'weeks' are Saturday
16.00 to Saturday 10.00. We ask that guests
leave the accommodation before 10.00, and
new guests arrive after 16.00. This allows
time for our cleaners to ensure a fresh start
for new guests
