Les Montels
is a large stone-built villa – sleeps 8/10 people,
and is located in the countryside just outside the village
of Roujan. With its own private pool the villa offers
a peaceful environment with panoramic views over the
vineyards and surrounding countryside.
The villa is surrounded by vineyards, which is the main
source of employment. An very rural area which slows
down time and makes the holiday longer. The area lies
between the mountains and the sea, with a great variety
of scenery all within easy driving.

The villa is situated
on a hill in its own grounds (5,000 m2). Access to
the property is via its own private road. The property
has plenty of trees and shrubs and as well as a large
parking area – space enough for 10 cars, there
is a large Mediterranean garden with flowers, olive
and almond trees. The villa has been totally renovated
(2004) – painted, re-furbished floors, new furniture,
beds, bathrooms, etc.
For those amongst us who can't leave home without
the laptop, there is ADSL internet connection

sofa, with a real mattress to convert into an extra
bed (for 1 person) if required. |

Shower room with WC, plus
an additional independent WC (the villa has a total
of 3 WC’s). |

Laundry-room with washing
machine, dryer, iron and ironing table, vacuum cleaner,
two sets of sheets and towels, dishes and table cloth,
and a high chair for children. |

A maid is available
for house cleaning at an extra charge. The maid can
also prepare dinners and other meals on request. These
are prepared and delivered to you. A menu list is in
the living room. |

WINE
The owner of the property, Hélène
Mir has her own vineyards and produces a
beautiful round silky wine, with rich, ripe red fruit
flavours that she calls Clos Montels.

| The villa
is located just 2km from Roujan a charming, quiet, typically
south of France village. The village has all the usual
amenities you would expect in a small community. There
is a collection of shops – groceries, bakers,
pharmacy, filling station, and an excellent boucherie
that offers first class products, all from local suppliers.

It's only a few kms to Pézenas, an old fortified
town, with magnificent 17th century houses that have
been beautifully restored. The Saturday market (photos
above) is not to be missed. There is a large selection
of local produce - olives and olive oil, cheese, hams
and sausages, and fresh fruit, as shown in the photos.
There is also a large range of wonderful summer cultural
events including concerts, festivals and art galleries.

The large city of Montpellier with its international
airport and train station is 52 km away.
Agde 20 km, Beziers 25 km and Sete 36 km.
The beaches are about half an hours drive away. The
area is filled with great history and pretty villages
and of course great wine! |

| Prices and Booking
Arrangements |

- To make a reservation you
need to pay 30% of total holiday cost. This
deposit constitutes a formal booking agreement.
Payment is in € (euro), sending money
by cheque or banker's draft. Payments in US$
accepted into US account.
- The balance can be paid on
arrival, either with cash or cheque.
- Booking weeks are for arrivals
after 5.00pm Saturday, leaving before 10.00
am Saturday. This allows time for our cleaners
to ensure a fresh start for new guests.
- All charges, including
cleaning at the end of your holiday, are included
in the rental.

Someone will be there to greet you when you arrive
in Roujan. They will hand over the villa keys.
